Not beaten in all the three matches against Mumbai Heroes, Telugu Warriors and Chennai Rhinos – Karnataka Bulldozers at last faced the defeat at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium on Sunday night in Hyderabad. Chennai Rhinos clinched the trophy of Celebrity Cricket League. The trophy was handed over to Sarath Kumar by Sridevi Boney Kapoor while Kichcha Sudeep received the runner up trophy from Subhas Ghai eminent director of Hindi filmdom.

The cry of Shankare Gowda is understandable. But, Karnataka Bulldozers played like real champions. Even in losing the finals we have won the hearts of millions. We have showed our power and how strong the team is. This is not a defeat at all! The main satisfaction is that in the first round Karnataka Bulldozer team beaten all the other three teams in a row playing like champions.

Winning the toss and electing to field the initial over’s cost heavily for Karnataka Bulldozers and they could restrict the Chennai Rhinos to 188 in 20 over. Batting next the regular key players failed to click including the flamboyant player Dhruva Kumar. It was only Bharath who could take the Karnataka Bulldozers team up to 165. Sudeep scored a decent 28 runs.

Karnataka Bulldozer owner Ashok Kheney was very confident in the beginning. He had even thought of hosting a party in Bengaluru with lakhs of people attending it.

Ambarish, Shatrugna Sinha, Mohan Babu, Murali Mohan, Radhika of Radan, Madhuri Bhattaharaya, Shriya Saran, Sonia Agarwal were seen among others at the final match at Hyderabad on Sunday night.
